What is the purpose of the processing of personal data?

BioWOIMA Finland Oy is processing personal data when recruiting new employees and when marketing, delivering and improving our services and products. The anonymized data (which cannot be linked to a specific person) is also being used to collect statistics, metrics and to the development of our way of working.

Whose personal data do we process?

Contact persons of BioWOIMA Finland Oy customers, potential customers (leads), jobseekers and the persons who have been listed as jobseeker references.

What data do we collect and process?

We may collect the following type of personal information

  • Contact information (such as name, address, email and telephone number)
  • Professional background and skills (such as current and previous employments, education, projects, language skills, certificates)

How we collect the data?

We collect personal data directly from you. We may also collect or enhance the data from public resources like your company website, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.

What is our data storage period?

The data are stored only as long as and to the extent necessary and allowed according to legislation in relation with the original or compatible purposes of collecting the personal data. The personal data may be used after the termination of the customer relationship if the legislation in effect so requires. Additionally, the controller will carry out all reasonable activities to ensure that all personal data which are inaccurate, erroneous or outdated with regard to the original purposes of processing will be rectified or erased without delay.

How we share the data?

We keep and treat your personal data confidential and for internal use only. Your personal data needed in delivering the product or service is shared with our business partners (such as finance and logistics)

Do we share the data outside EU/EEA?

We do not store or share the data outside EU/EEA.

How we protect the personal data?

We store your data into our systems and only authorized persons have access to system. Each user has personal account and password. If you give a paper copy of your personal data to us or we print out a copy, that material will be stored in locked cabinet.

What are your rights?

You have a right to access your personal data.
You have a right to ask a copy of all your personal information we have, by sending a written request to Contact person.
You have a right to request that we correct, amend, delete or block your personal information. If you wish to do so, send a written removal request to Contact person.
You also have a right to receive a notice from us if there has been a personal data breach that has impact on you.
